No book would I ban. Every book has its time and place, and home in the library.
Also, it really isn't fair to try to "protect" teenagers from books with content that adults might deem to be "un-fit". Teenagers are smart, and see the World as it is. To try to block them from good literature, because of questionable content, for whatever reason, doesn't really help them. What happens when they leave the High School nest, and fly into the Big Bad World?
Actually, they will be alright, because they are not little children anymore, and know a lot for then their elders give them credit for. They will, on the other ahnd, go out ignorant of many things, and starved of fantastic literature when the go. That's just not fair.

I've seen, and love the version with Keira Knightly, but....Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy!! OMG!! He was just too perfect for words!
His eyes were warm and expressive, and he being the good actor he is, brought a tiny bit of humor to the role, which I really adore.
Mr.Darcy has always been a favorite character of mine, and I really love how Colin made him come alive.
In other news, would somebody like to explain to me how somebody can order a small regular coffee, but in a large cup, and proceed to add a shot of Diet Dr.Pepper to it?! I mean, I do like Diet Dr. Pepper, but do people usually add soda to coffee? I've never heard of this before!

Today has been a good day. I'm off work today, and I felt like talking, being silly, and making people laugh.
That's what lead me to the House Unity chat on AIM.
After great discussions on different HP ships, music, and random things,
confluents and I started talking about how bananas take over the flavor of everything else, because it's a bossy fruit. She made the comment that the banana is the dominatrix of the fruit world, and that turned into Bananatrix. So, can you blame me for seeing Bellatrix running around in yellow in my head?This lead to many other characters turning into fruit, such as Snapefruit and Lemon Limegood. =)
So many LOLZ today! I feel really good!
I do feel bad though, some people really didn't know just how silly, crazy, odd, and weird my imagination can be. ;D
