John and I went to his co-worker's house for a 4th of July cook-out.
I knew that the place was in the middle of a bunch of farm land, and woods.
I knew that there would be food and fireworks.
What I didn't expect was the hot tube, waterslide, and they guys playing accoustic guitars, and singing!
Everybody was so nice and easy to talk to, and I got to sing along with they guys, and was even complemented on my voice! I didn't realize just how much I miss being in a band. Between sliding, singing, and watching the fantasic fireworks show, I didn't get home until way after midnight, and went to bed peacefully!
I think I surprised John by how I openely jumped into singing. I asked him what the difference was, and he said, "There's a difference between singing in the car, and singing in front of a bunch of people. You...came to life! The guys were amazed. Didn't you notice?"
*happy sigh* I felt free, and I realized thatI haven't actually just let myself go, and just belt out a tune with other musicians in a long time. Last night was good for me.
Also, Adam, we need to talk about the thing I was talking about in my message! New developments, and a crazy idea on my part!!
I feel like the Joker right now!!
